I am blessed to be surrounded by natural beauty, interesting people and locations. I carry my camera everywhere to 'frame' the world I see and then share these images with you, with a focus on re-igniting that scene and the awe inspiring moments they capture. My pictures tell stories, they re-create moments, events and emotions, they transport you to places I love to explore, and the excitement I get when out in my "happy place' connected with my camera.

The feel of my first camera in my hand during my high school years sparked a joy and a passion in me that has never died. Back then hearing and feeling the 35mm film turn inside the camera when I cranked the advance lever after every shot brought anticipation and excitement, never knowing what was on the film until I developed it in the darkroom later was an emotional experience. 

Now some 30 plus years later I see images I take instantly on an LCD screen, but the experience of taking the picture, sitting in nature, absorbing the sights, sounds and emotions, still relate.

I'm a photographer because it brings me happiness to compose, capture and create.  

I'm a photographer because there's too much beauty in this life not to share with others, there's a view around every corner and a story to tell through pictures.
